This Creator Consent Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms under which individuals (“Creators”) grant permission to Basic Bookish LLC (“Basic Bookish,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to use their creative work, likeness, and submitted materials for promotional and editorial purposes.

This Agreement applies to all individuals participating as:

• Featured Reviewers (book reviewers, content creators, bloggers, or influencers providing written or multimedia reviews)

• Featured Fan Artists (artists providing illustrations, graphics, digital art, or other creative works)

By agreeing to a partnership with Basic Bookish, the Creator acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. VOLUNTARY CONSENT

The Creator confirms that all submissions made to Basic Bookish are provided voluntarily, with the Creator’s full knowledge and permission for use by Basic Bookish.

2. OWNERSHIP OF CONTENT

The Creator acknowledges and affirms that:

1. They are the original creator and copyright holder of all submitted content (artwork, reviews, images, or other media), or they have obtained proper permission to share the content.

2. The content does not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.

3. LICENSE TO USE SUBMITTED CONTENT

The Creator grants Basic Bookish a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Display

• Reproduce

• Distribute

• Publish

• Promote

• Share on social media

• Feature on basicbookish.com

• Include in newsletters, campaigns, and promotional materials

This license applies solely for Basic Bookish–related purposes, including marketing, editorial features, and community engagement.

The Creator retains full ownership of their original work.

4. PERMISSION TO USE NAME, HANDLE, AND LIKENESS

The Creator grants Basic Bookish permission to use:

• Their name (or preferred display name)

• Social media handle(s)

• Profile image(s)

• Publicly posted brand or creator name

…in association with their submitted content, including marketing, attribution, and promotional materials.

5. NO COMPENSATION REQUIRED

Unless otherwise specified through a separate written agreement, Creators acknowledge that:

• They are not entitled to monetary compensation for being featured.

• Participation is voluntary, unpaid, and promotional in nature.

If Basic Bookish provides store credit, merchandise, affiliate benefits, or other incentives, these do not constitute wages or formal employment.

6. RIGHT TO EDIT OR REMOVE CONTENT

Basic Bookish reserves the right to:

• Remove content at any time

• Decline to publish content for any reason

Basic Bookish will never alter the Creator’s work in a misleading or defamatory way.

7. CREATOR'S RIGHT TO REVOKE CONSENT

Creators may request removal of their content at any time by emailing:

Upon receiving a removal request, Basic Bookish will remove the content from its website within 7 business days plus any future use. Previously printed or published materials already in circulation cannot be retroactively changed.

8. NO TRANSFER OF COPYRIGHT

This Agreement does not transfer ownership of any creative copyrights.
Creators maintain all moral, creative, and intellectual property rights to their work.

9. REPRESENTATION OF AGE

The Creator confirms that they are:

• At least 18 years old,
  or

• Have a parent/guardian signed consent attached (for minors).

Basic Bookish does not knowingly feature minors without documented parental consent.

10. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA.

11. ACCEPTANCE

By agreeing to partner with Basic Bookish as a Featured Reviewer or Featured Fan Artist, the Creator agrees to the terms of this Creator Consent Agreement.
