I was so engrossed in this series and it definitely sparked some feminist/Salem Witch Trial rage within me. The world building is so beautifully written, I can still picture it in my mind and I loved the the rollercoaster feelings Scarlett gave us with these characters throughout. And the spice is spicinggggggg. This also gives us great BIPOC representation with Isolde as a freaking fabulous FMC. I don't know what the next book - Kingdom of Spirit and Shadow has in store for us, but I'm definitely reading it when it finally comes out!
