Court of Ravens (beginning with Feathers So Vicious) is a dark fantasy romance duet about Galantia, a sheltered noblewoman traveling to wed a prince when she is violently kidnapped by raven shifters, the feared enemies of her people. Taken to their cursed, war‑torn stronghold and thrown under the control of two ruthless raven males—brooding Sebian and vengeful Malyr—she becomes a political pawn and living weapon in their long‑running feud with her father’s kingdom. As Galantia confronts brutal truths about the war she was raised to believe in, she is pulled into a twisted, obsessive triangle where protection and cruelty blur, slowly forcing her to question her loyalties, uncover her own power, and decide whether to surrender to their darkness or fight for a different fate, with later plot turns and the ultimate outcome left unspoiled.

Jamie’s review

This was a no for me dawg. I tried to go in with no expectations but I really struggled with this raven shifter dark romance. 🐦‍⬛

I didn't know it was a why choose trope and I just cannot with a why choose trope. You're telling me that these broody powerful tough guys are SHARING this woman? I think not.

I could get behind the love triangle, and even respected the character development for all 3 main characters… but the sharing is so far fetched and ridiculous, it ruined the story for me.

Also, Malyr is as morally black as an MMC can get and there are TRIGGER WARNING LANDMINES everywhere. I like dark romance, but not THAT dark.

There WAS an actual plot, it was just overshadowed (pun intended) but the terrible romance elements.

Erica’s review

Okay, don't come for me….this was just not my cup of tea. I'm generally not a "why choose"/"reverse harem" gal but that coupled with the super dark undertones - this was mostly a no for me. 🫣 I can appreciate the cool and uniqueness of the raven shifters - I actually loved that. I also loved the gothic type world building and I did love the character connections. BUT - I really struggled with some of the darker themes.

I also always have a problem with, (and if you watch our stuff, you already know this), the whole why choose aspect of these 2 incredibly broody, strong MMCs just willing to share the FMC. I can get on board with them magically shifting into ravens but my brain draws the line at the FMC sharing. 😂 I can't tell you why this is but my brain is my brain….so here we are. Again, that, PLUS adding in some super dark and tragic trauma for the characters - that's a no for me dawg. People love it though - look below to see other reviews to see if this duology IS for you!
