Hmmmmm how to describe this dark romance series…. if you and your friends were serial killers and you met 3 Irish brothers in the same line of business, you would have the Ruinous Love trilogy. Kill Bill meets Dexter meets Peaky Blinders 😆

I think the series tried really hard to be whimsically horrific and just didn't quite hit the mark. Book 1 was the best and we should have just left it at that. The only thing I liked about book 2 was that it flipped the script and a vengeful phantom is hunting down the FMC/MMC instead of the other way around. Aaaaaaand book 3 was just a hard pass for me. I almost DNF'd.
