Rose Hill is a small‑town contemporary romance series set in the lakeside town of Rose Hill, British Columbia, following four single dads as they unexpectedly fall in love and rebuild their lives in a close‑knit mountain community. The first book, Wild Love, centers on Rosie Belmont, who returns home after a traumatic experience and lost job in the city, and Ford Grant, a grumpy billionaire music producer opening a recording studio in town who suddenly discovers he has a twelve‑year‑old daughter. When Rosie needs a fresh start and Ford needs help with both his new business and instant fatherhood, a job offer and years of unresolved tension between best‑friend’s‑little‑sister and childhood crush turn into slow‑burn, banter‑filled chemistry, while later books follow other single dads in Rose Hill finding their own happily ever afters without revealing how each couple’s story resolves.

Jamie’s review

WILD LOVE

I liked it, didn't love it. It's a great little potato chip book, light hearted and feel good. But the premise of Ford and Rosie's relationship is feisty, bickering, constantly at each other's throats and honestly, I couldn't follow a lot of the dialogue. I was like, what are they mad about now? It's like they were fighting just to fight and unsurprisingly, it got old.

Rosie is mostly likable but then she randomly becomes possessed by a toddler and does something "bratty" like throw paint all over the hardwood floors. How quirky and wild!! 🙄 I mostly liked the storyline with Cora, the surprise new daughter that shows up. All in all, it was likable enough. I gave it 3/5.

WILD EYES

I liked Weston and Skylar more than Ford and Rosie. The tough, lovable cowboy horse trainer single dad falls for the mega-famous pop star?? What's not to love. It's cheesy, it's sweet, it's another potato chip book.

I actually really appreciated not villainizing the ex-wife, showing that exes can co-parent like mature adults was a nice aspect to the story. Liked it, didn't love it.

WILD SIDE

BY FAR my favorite in the series. BY FAR. SO GOOD! The storyline is sweet and heartbreaking and the spice is spicing. Tabitha is funny and relatable. Rhys is a broody cinnamon roll. I loved them.

Check your trigger warnings, but trust that you should pick this one up.

Erica’s review

WILD SIDE

This is the only one is the series I read. Jamie had read the 2 before and was giving "meh vibes" and so I trusted her and passed on those. I LOVED Wild Side. And, I loved learning about Reese's job - that was so entertaining and interesting! Usually I don't love a miscommunication trope but this was done well IMO. And I also really loved all of the mystery of why Reese was given custody of Miles when Tabitha's sister Erica dies. Lots going on and lots to love.
