The first book in the bestselling BookTok viral Vicious Lost Boys series, a Peter Pan-inspired enemies-to-lovers spicy romantasy where the villain gets the girl.

The stories were all wrong--Hook was never the villain.

For two centuries, all of the Darling women have disappeared on their eighteenth birthday. Sometimes they're gone for only a day, some for as long as a week or a month. But they always return broken.
Now, on the afternoon of my eighteenth birthday, my mother runs around the house, making sure all the windows are barred and the doors locked.

But it's pointless.

Because when night falls, he comes for me. And this time, the Never King and the Lost Boys aren't willing to let me go.

NOTE: The Never King is a reimagining of Peter Pan and Wendy. Characters have been aged-up for this darker, grittier version. If you like your enemies-to-lovers dark romance with hot, ruthless, morally gray love interests, you'll enjoy The Never King and the Vicious Lost Boys series. Expect hate kissing, fighting, bickering, and 'touch her and I'll unalive you' vibes. Book one ends on a cliffhanger.

Jamie hasn’t read this yet, it’s on her never ending TBR

Erica’s review

Wow, and, not in a good way. But I am still giving it 2 stars because it's obviously memorable AF. And that means something to me. And it is probably the spiciest series I've read to date overall. Which is also saying something because I read a lot of smutty things. 😅 This was the series that I realized I did't like a "why choose" trope and had no idea what I was getting into when I picked these bad boys up (pun always intended). Did I DNF? Gasp! Absolutely NOT. I finish what I start over here peeps! Basically this is a Peter Pan retelling in a very dark and will-ruin-the-Disney-version forever kind of way. It's a wild ride (yes, yes…another pun). It is done well if you like a reverse harem, dark fantasy and/or fairytale retelling. But beware - you will never think of Peter Pan and Wendy Darling the same, EVER again if you read this….
