It was a little repetitive and I didn’t love the circumstances of how the main characters meet. But I was entertained and it has spice and the mystery keeps you guessing as to how they will inevitably save the world and live happily ever after… because they always do!
Desmond and Callypso are great… once you get through book 3 and learn the backstory. But if I had to hear him call her “cherub” or “baby siren” ONE more time I swear to god 🤢🤢🤢

I loved the unraveling of Callypso and Desmond’s secrets as we go through the years, getting glimpses of both past and present. This had me in the feels while she was trying to figure out the betrayal of the MMC Desmond. He was also a nice change up of the dark-haired, broody Shadow Daddy MMC we all love – check the fan art below!
