The Ravenhood trilogy by Kate Stewart begins with Flock and follows Cecelia Horner, a nineteen‑year‑old who moves to the blue‑collar town of Triple Falls to work at her estranged billionaire father’s factory for a year in order to secure her inheritance and help her struggling mother. There she’s drawn into an intense, secretive world with Sean and his best friend Dominic, enigmatic men tied to a clandestine brotherhood known as the Ravenhood, whose members share a raven tattoo and a mission that seems to blur the line between crime and justice. As Cecelia falls for them and becomes entangled in their loyalties, politics, and dangerous operations, the series explores themes of passion, betrayal, moral grayness, and the long‑term emotional fallout of that fateful year, with later books revisiting her and Triple Falls years down the line without revealing the central twists or endgame romance.

Jamie’s review

Sorry dark romance girlies, this was a nope for me. I actually DNF'd it 2/3 through Flock because I could just tell things were going to go a way I typically don't like.

Cecelia goes to live in a small town with her billionaire absentee dad and gets to know these mysterious hottie bad boys in a vigilante "gang" that operates Robinhood-style, but like, sexy and broody.

Some "sharing is caring" going on and I found the writing a little lackluster and the plot a little weak. After I DNF'd, I googled the spoilers and I was very happy I didn't continue knowing the emotional damage waiting at the end. I would have been furious lol. But, I know there are emotional damage girlies out there that LOVE this series so give it a try! You might be one of them!
