Ugh I wanted to love this one…. but I liked Just For The Summer so much more. Xavier and Samantha are both likable and both dealing with family issues that keep them living 2000 miles apart.

Xavier is a veterinarian and I think that is the hottest profession an MMC could ever have 🔥 Samantha is a social media marketer and comes up with hilarious, witty content for a mustard brand.

I appreciate the real life discourse, like Samantha's Mother having dementia and how that affects her family. And Xavier having narcissistic parents and the residual aftermath of having that kind of childhood. It's thought provoking while still being a light romcom. Jimenez is great at that.

I liked it, didn't love it. And why the selective "closed door spice" - that was weird.
